Our Projects

Project Pencil

A group of teenagers worked together to gather 1,060 books, 50 school supplies, and 60 backpacks to deliver to a struggling school. We spread awareness about our project through advertising with posters that our members made throughout our communities. Our hard work paid off by going over and beyond our goal of 500 books, 50 school supplies, and 50 backpacks, which we were overjoyed to deliver to Mission Elementary School.

One Warm Coat

This project was about collecting winter coats for students to wear so they could stay warm while learning. Winter is a harsh season, so we all need to bundle up! We sent lots of warm coats, plus some hats and blankets to Marsh Elementary School and Mission Elementary School - Vinoth

Coats4Caldor

The Caldor Fire of 2021, one of the larger fires in northern California, burned hundreds of thousands of acres of mountainous land within the span of 2 months. We realized that the families who would have lost their homes and belongings would be shivering during the chilly winters up atop the mountains. In this time of need, our team thought that we should take initiative and collect jackets within our communities so we could donate them in all sizes to a few freezing families. We reached out to schools that had lost and founds, brimming with unclaimed apparel, and were able to collect several boxes of jackets. We then got in touch with the Hands for Hope nonprofit organization, who were awesome to work with, and who helped distribute the coats throughout the affected area.

We Care

In this project, we collected coats, pajamas, blankets, and more for the Tri-Valley Haven shelter. With many getting evicted from their homes due to the pandemic, they needed help, so they went to shelters such as Tri-Valley Haven, who provided then with many necessities. We wanted to help them so they could provide for people in severe economic need, so we created this drive.

Assembling Covid Testing Kits

This pandemic has definitely sent us scrambling for masks and testing kits. Recognizing this uproar to test ourselves quickly and stay safe, we partnered with HelpTestBayArea to package Predicine's testing kits every Saturday till we reached our goal. We definitely loved working with Predicine and HelpTestBayArea to distribute these kits all over the bay area to schools and other public centers.
